Chronus Starting Second 25-man group, seeking new applicants

Chro­nus, everyone’s favo­rite spam­mer guild, is now ope­ning rec­ruit­ment up.

After BC, like most guilds, we were faced with the options of down­si­zing or “wai­ting and seeing.” Well, due to this, we have a large amount of rai­ders and we are see­king to expand our guild to being capa­ble of fiel­ding two 25-man raid groups.

This is a great oppor­tu­nity for any pla­yer who has the right atti­tude and unders­tands that they are buil­ding a new team of rai­ders. We raid four nights a week– Mon­day through Thurs­day, from 9:30 PM CST to about 1:30 AM.

Our current raid group has killed Magthe­ri­don and Gruul, and is going to be star­ting SSC and TK in the upco­ming weeks.

As of this moment, we are also still see­king new rai­ders for our first raid group. Currently, we only seek to add a war­lock or two to balance out that raid. We are con­si­de­ring a well-geared resto sha­man, but this is not a high priority.

Our second raid group is par­ti­cu­larly well-stocked on tanks right now. There may be an ope­ning for hybrid tanks in the near future, but for the moment, tank apps are clo­sed to both raid groups.

To break it down:

Current Raid Group Needs:
1–2 War­locks
Pos­sibly 1 Sha­man (Resto).

New Raid Group Needs:
Any class but tanks.
(Inc­lu­des: All DPS clas­ses, All Hea­ler Classes).

The new raid group will begin its focus on Karazhan as soon as pos­si­ble, with the intent on crea­ting one to two Karazhan raids for the new rai­ders as the pre­sent raid team stops run­ning Karazhan alto­gether in favor of run­ning four nights of 25 man content.

The second group will, as soon as there are enough active rai­ders, shift its focus to Gruul’s Lair and Karazhan.

It needs to be clear to any poten­tial appli­cant that you will, in all like­lihood, begin rai­ding in the new raid group. As such, you will be star­ting out in Karazhan and Gruul, not SSC and TK. I am res­ta­ting this because it is very impor­tant to me that peo­ple unders­tand coming into this that they are sig­ning on to start something new in the guild.

As far as raid rules, gui­de­li­nes, times, and mind­sets, both groups will go into it the same. They will not be the same raid, obviously, but the idea is to kill the bos­ses. Both raids will raid about the same time­fra­mes and with the intent of moving through con­tent at their res­pec­tive paces. Though the new group will be behind the current one, it will be due to the time­frame in which they star­ted the content.
