Since January, both Chronus raids have completed all raid content– leaving both raids to actively farm content until their (sometimes little) brains explode (fall out, leak out, etc.)!

We are still actively taking and reviewing applications for membership in Chronus, but we do have a few slots in both raids that need to be filled.

• Healers– Druids, Priests, Resto shammy preferred
• Tanks– DK, Prot Pally preferred
• DPS– SPriests,  Hunter, Rogue, DK preferred

As always, Chronus accepts and reviews all applications for currently filled roles, looking for exceptional players.

Now I posted a while back about our latest triumphs, but apparently those posts went poof so I’ll post again…

MALYGOS DOWN — This happened about 2.5 weeks ago. Both groups are now smoothly cleaning up on phat epix in hopes of being completely bored by the time new content comes out.

If you are interested in applying, all applicants must be aware that this group raids 9:00 — 12:30 from Monday to Thursday. All applicants are expected to give a detailed application explaining their play style, experience etc… It is highly suggested that you are at least wearing 5/10 man Heroic Instance gear as the raid group is actively raiding 25 man instances. After you submit your application, you will be contacted in game with questions regarding your gear, spec, experience and may be given a trial run.

Update: The 9:30 raid is interested in recruiting a Warlock. And while the Raid is currently not recruiting for any other slots, they are actively reviewing each application submitted.

Our second raid group killed Kaz’Rogal Thursday night, July 10. Their progression is now 5/6 SSC, 3/4 TK, and 3/5 Mount Hyjal. They’re still looking for some reliable raiding warlocks.

Applicants for this raid must be completely geared with all drops they want/need from SSC/TK, or viable badge replacements, and heavy preference will be given to those experienced in the beginning aspects of T6 content.

After BC, like most guilds, we were faced with the options of downsizing or “waiting and seeing.” Well, due to this, we have a large amount of raiders and we are seeking to expand our guild to being capable of fielding two 25-man raid groups.

This is a great opportunity for any player who has the right attitude and understands that they are building a new team of raiders. We raid four nights a week– Monday through Thursday, from 9:30 PM CST to about 1:30 AM.

Our current raid group has killed Magtheridon and Gruul, and is going to be starting SSC and TK in the upcoming weeks.

As of this moment, we are also still seeking new raiders for our first raid group. Currently, we only seek to add a warlock or two to balance out that raid. We are considering a well-geared resto shaman, but this is not a high priority.

Our second raid group is particularly well-stocked on tanks right now. There may be an opening for hybrid tanks in the near future, but for the moment, tank apps are closed to both raid groups.

To break it down:

Current Raid Group Needs:
1–2 Warlocks
Possibly 1 Shaman (Resto).

New Raid Group Needs:
Any class but tanks.
(Includes: All DPS classes, All Healer Classes).

The new raid group will begin its focus on Karazhan as soon as possible, with the intent on creating one to two Karazhan raids for the new raiders as the present raid team stops running Karazhan altogether in favor of running four nights of 25 man content.

The second group will, as soon as there are enough active raiders, shift its focus to Gruul’s Lair and Karazhan.

It needs to be clear to any potential applicant that you will, in all likelihood, begin raiding in the new raid group. As such, you will be starting out in Karazhan and Gruul, not SSC and TK. I am restating this because it is very important to me that people understand coming into this that they are signing on to start something new in the guild.

As far as raid rules, guidelines, times, and mindsets, both groups will go into it the same. They will not be the same raid, obviously, but the idea is to kill the bosses. Both raids will raid about the same timeframes and with the intent of moving through content at their respective paces. Though the new group will be behind the current one, it will be due to the timeframe in which they started the content.

We have cleared almost all of Karazhan as a guild, and are likely to finish Gruul’s Lair very soon as we took very little time to kill Maulgar. We run two Karazhan raids weekly, heroics in guild at random intervals throughout the day, and Gruul’s Lair every Thursday right now. We will be moving on to more 25 man content in the forseeable future!
